Bernard works in the Machine Dynamics Group at Ontario Power Generation. The Machine Dynamics Group supports vibration diagnostics across the OPG fleet including steam, gas and hydro turbines, and all auxiliary equipments. A graduate from the University of Florida in Mechanical Engineering. He is a Category IV certified vibration analyst by the Vibration Institute.

Bernard has been involved in troubleshooting hydro units for the past 20 years. Recently was involved in the commissioning of 6 new hydro units as part of the Lower Mattagami River expansion.
